Start at Kelmarsh Station and turn right onto the Brampton Valley Way heading towards Oxendon. At Oxendon Crossing, go right onto the farm track (Oxendon Road) into Arthingworth. From the village, follow the Kelmarsh Road, bearing left at the fork and follow a hilly country lane. Then pick up the footpath (can get a bit overgrown in summer) before rejoining the Brampton Valley Way. You’ll get a quick unwelcome glimpse of the A14, but it’s soon behind you. Then Straight ahead is Kelmarsh Tunnel. It’s dark in there, so bring a torch!
